Die düstere Märchenstunde

Die Tage werden kürzer, die Abende länger. Halloween liegt schon hinter uns, aber die Wolkendecke hängt tief und verbirgt uns die eine oder andere Nacht die Sterne. Draußen ist das Lachen von Menschen zu hören, in den Büschen raschelt es, für einen Fuchs ist es zu kalt, Eichhörnchen kuscheln sich schon in die Astlöcher, in der Entfernung jault ein Hund und überall am Körper bildet sich dicke Gänsehaut. Schnell rein, Tür zu, rein ins Bett.

Tür auf für die Märchenstunde.

Vom 18. November 2019 bis 18. Dezember 2019 wollen Alisha und ich euch verschiedene (Kunst)Märchenadaptionen und Bücher mit Märchenelementen vorstellen. Dabei soll es jedoch nicht darum gehen, die Happy Ends zu spoilern und uns über den Kuss am Ende zu freuen, sondern euch düstere Geschichten vorzustellen. Ob sie Happy Ends haben? Vielleicht. Ob es einen Kuss geben wird? Vielleicht, vielleicht eben auch nicht.

Gemeinsam haben die Bücher, dass sie alle gruselig sind, zumindest etwas schaurig. Einige von ihnen enthalten Horrorelemente, andere -motive. Wir werden für unsere „Märchenstunde“ leider nicht alle (Kunst)Märchenadaptionen und Bücher mit Märchenelementen vorstellen können, die wir kennen, dafür bleiben wir jedoch abwechslungsreich. Viele Bücher sind davon leider nur auf Englisch erhältlich, aber wir haben uns gefreut zu sehen, dass alle von Autorinnen sind.

Wir stellen euch im kommenden Monat in keiner bestimmten Reihenfolge vor:

„Alice: Chronicles of Alice 01“ von Christina Henry

„Das dunkle Herz des Waldes“ von Naomi Novik
